Sensor housings carry tight internal geometry, connector cut-outs and thin walls, which makes them ideal for SLS printing. This nylon PA12 housing holds ±0.08 mm on critical features so PCB, magnet and lens positions can be validated before committing to injection tooling.
- PA12 offers good chemical resistance to oils, fuels and cleaners
- Thin walls down to 0.8 mm keep the housing light without warping
- Gasket grooves and potting dams printed directly into the body
- Matte bead-blasted surface hides build marks
- Thread inserts and heat-staking bosses can be included

Housings are customized for connector position, PCB standoff, potting volume and IP sealing strategy. We print a first article for fit check, then repeat the same build recipe for 20 to 200 piece pilot runs.
