Project Background
In the early stages of development, Lamborghini representatives and the New Century team held in-depth discussions covering the DM report, the Moldflow report, the project timeline and the overall project objectives. The goal was clear: define how New Century could provide reliable mold design, mold manufacturing and technical support to guarantee the project’s success.
The Challenge
Once development began, the client provided the 3D and 2D product drawings. Before committing to mold making, they required our team to evaluate the 3D model and propose practical modification suggestions, so that the new project could be launched with the best possible solution.

Our Solution
Based on our engineering team’s professional mold technology analysis, we delivered comprehensive DFM and Moldflow reports containing numerous optimization suggestions for the 3D model drawings.
- DFM analysis – reviewed part geometry, wall thickness, draft angles and gate locations to improve manufacturability.
- Moldflow simulation – predicted filling, cooling and warpage behaviour to eliminate defects before cutting steel.
- Model optimization – supported the client in modifying and optimizing the 3D product model until the final optimized drawings were approved.
- Mold manufacturing – built the injection molding molds based on the approved optimized design.
