In the early stages of this project development, our client, Lamborghini representatives, and the New Century team discussed the DM report, Moldflow report, timeline, project objectives, and how New Century could provide mold design and manufacturing solutions and technical support to ensure the project's success.
After the project development commenced, the client provided 3D and 2D product drawings. However, they required the New Century team to evaluate the 3D model and provide reasonable modification suggestions before mold making, offering the optimal solution for the new project's launch.
The New Century team's solution for the client was that, based on our engineering team's professional mold technology analysis, we provided numerous optimization suggestions for the 3D model drawings in the DFM and Moldflow reports, facilitating modifications and optimizations to the 3D product model.
This allowed us to obtain the final optimized drawings, which we then used to create the injection molding molds. The client was extremely satisfied with our service, quality, and technology.
Production began in mid-2022, and the project has been very successful. The molds are running well, the injection-molded plastic parts are 100% qualified, and the assembled products are very suitable for Lamborghini's new cars.
